WWII 'Time Traveler' Returned With An Urgent Message About Our Future

Parallel universes, vengeful spirits, aliens from another galaxy; so many people believe in these phenomenons because they distract from the mundane and make room for the impossible. For some of us, however, these fantasies are a little too close to home. One man, Al Bielek, claims that he has time traveled far into the future. When he got back, he had much to share — as well as an incredibly urgent message to bestow.

Al Bielek, the "Walking Encyclopedia"

Al Bielek was a precocious child. He remembers conversations from before he was a year old, and in school his nickname was the "walking encyclopedia." However even Al couldn't have anticipated the unbelievably bizarre events that he claimed transpired later in his life.

The Philadelphia Experiment

According to Bielek, everything was set into motion when he saw the movie The Philadelphia Experiment, a film about a secret project conducted by the Navy that sent two sailors forty years into the future. After that, Bielek began having strange feelings...

Al's visions

Little by little, he started recalling things that were too vivid to be just his imagination. He had visions of strange lands and shady government officials. But he couldn't quite access all the information he knew was there, waiting to come to the surface.

Astounding revelations

Bielek decided he would try some new age treatments in order to aid in recovering his memory. Sure enough, the treatments eventually worked, and the man had to deal with some pretty astounding revelations.

He wasn't Al Bielek!

The first thing he recalled was his true identity. He wasn't Al Bielek, he was Edward Cameron. And he hadn't been born in 1927, he was born in 1916. His parents? Merely actors, assigned to him by the government.

Reporting his findings

Bielek took some time to process what he had found out. Then, in a 1990 conference on UFOs, he brought everything out into the open. The Philadelphia Experiment was real, and he and his brother — who he'd only recently remembered — had worked on it together in 1943.

The undercover mission

The undercover mission had started out innocently enough: the government was developing ways to make their ships invisible to Nazi U-boats. Amazingly, in July of 1943, Bielek claims they were successful. The USS Eldridge became invisible for 15 minutes before returning.

Delirious crew

However, when the ship came back from invisibility, the entire crew was incredibly nauseous and professed feelings of delirium. Nonetheless the experiment had to go on, and the sailors reluctantly prepared for a redo the following month.

The crew's disturbing fates

The second time around, the ship stayed invisible for an astounding four hours. However when they were back, it was discovered that the sailors onboard had met a variety of incredibly disturbing fates.

Where we Al and Duncan?

Five crew members became stuck in the ship's metal flooring, while those who survived went mentally insane. Bielek and his brother Duncan, however, were noticeably absent from the strange scene.

Back to the future

At first, when the brothers noticed something was awry, they'd jumped ship. The pair soon discovered the shocking truth, though. They were no longer in Philadelphia; they were off the coast of Montauk. And the year wasn't 1943...it was 1983.

Stranded

When they reached the shore, they were immediately inundated by a large group of guards and patrol helicopters. Then they were roughly escorted down into the basement of a large government building, where they met someone who they never expected to see there.

Reunited

Down in the depths of the basement, the brothers were introduced to John von Neumann — the same scientist who had sent them to the future back in the forties, only much much older. He informed them he had a mission for them.

The brothers' mission

Somehow an energy field of time and space had made contact with the USS Eldridge, sucking it into the future. To make matters worse, this field only kept growing. It had to be destroyed before it consumed the entire Earth.

More time traveling

To defeat the space/time vortex, the men had to destroy all the ship's equipment. So they got axes, and smashed all the cords, electrical wires, and databases on board. The boat returned safely to 1943. But they went somewhere else...

Stuck in the future

Rather than returning to 1943 with the ship, Bielek and his brother awoke in strange hospital beds. Their eyes widened when they heard the year: 2173, more than 200 years into the future.

Futuristic medicine

Because the brothers had traveled so far through time, they had to be treated for severe radiation burns. However rather than traditional medical supplies, this futuristic hospital used light and vibrational energy to heal them.

Boring television

One of the first strange things they noticed about the 22nd century was that the television only played news, historical programs, or geographical information. There were no sitcoms, romances, or soap operas to speak of.

The new world

However watching the news taught them a lot about the current state of the world. For one, the United States had lost a great deal of land mass, including almost all of Florida. More dramatically, it was now a military state!

Huge global disasters

Most dramatically, due to a series of devastating global wars, the world's population had dwindled to only 300 million people, a vast drop-off from the prior count of over seven billion. Even the lucky survivors had to deal with the poisonous effects of lasting radiation.

Into the future

Just as he was beginning to take in this incredibly bleak vision of the future, Bielek shot forward again, this time more than six hundred years into the future. Suddenly, the year was 2749.

An international utopia

This world was vastly different. Rather than a realm of death and destruction, humanity was now living in a utopia. Majestic cities miles above the ground floated through the sky; civilization had finally mastered anti-gravity technology. That's not all that had changed, though...

Artificial intelligence

Advanced artificial intelligence was running virtually everything for the world's population. As such, there was no longer any need for people to work, and, amazingly, money became completely obsolete.

Achieving world peace

In addition to this, the planet seemed to have learned from its previous mistakes, including the now-ancient wars that had wreaked complete havoc on the natural world. In this new reality, warfare was virtually non-existent, for all nations had agreed to disband their militaries.

Through the wormhole

With no warning, Bielek was again transported through time. However this time he went backwards, to the same hospital room in 2137. He reconnected with his brother and together they traveled through a wormhole to 1943. They were back in Kansas again.

The stuff of nightmares

Back in the proper decade, Bielek continued to work on the USS Eldridge until eventually, the government caught on that he knew a little too much about their secret operations. What they did next in order to silence Bielek was the stuff of nightmares.

Al isn't unique

The government decided to de-age the otherworldly traveler, sending him back in time to be reborn in the year 1927 under a new identity and with a new family. If his story sounds unbelievable, there's you should know. This isn't the first reported instance of time travel. Not by a long shot!

Noah the time traveler

While you might have encountered fortune tellers at an amusement park or boardwalk, those "clairvoyants" tend to make incredibly vague predictions that apply to anyone and can't really be wrong. Noah the Time Traveler, however, is quite different.

Shocking predictions

Noah claimed that he was able to visit the year 2030, write down his observations, and return back to the present. His notes understandably include some shocking predictions about global changes.

Is he to be believed?

Consequently, Noah took steps to conceal his identity; he was also careful not to remain in one place for too long. Naturally, this made a lot of his audience immediately discount his story — but the more watched his video, the more they were drawn in.

Gearing up for 2030

So, what did he claim to observe in the year 2030? There were plenty of strange sights, but one stands out: Let's just say that planet Earth will have some new residents by then...

They come in peace...

Noah claimed that, in the future, aliens will visit our planet and “crash all over the place.” These visitors will thankfully come in peace, but they might look a bit menacing at first glance.

Our new neighbors

Our new neighbors will have “bold skin and be slender-like.” Hopefully you're ready to share the roads with some giant reptiles. Noah also provided some additional information about the aliens, though.

Um, okay?

He said the aliens will come from planet Louis 33; its scientific name is reportedly "369, the goose drank wine. The monkey chewed tobacco on a streetcar line.” Guess we missed that lesson in science class...

His compelling predictions kept coming

Naturally, Noah's claims were rightfully met with skepticism. Those reading his predictions online had a hard time believing anything without proof. Still, something about the predictions resonated. Even his biggest critics kept watching.

How we live in 2030

Next, Noah claimed he saw more than aliens during his trip to the future, though. He also observed some more worldly matters. Humans in 2030, for example, live their daily lives in a strange way.

The fight for immortality

Apparently, he observed humans connecting themselves to computers at night! While Noah couldn't fully understand the details of the practice, he believed that the digital link was a step towards immortality.

Expanded mental capabilities

Further, Noah said people in the future also had expanded mental capacities. Maybe connecting to a computer allowed their brains to download facts while they were asleep. It would sure make studying easier!

Flying humans?!

Oh, and park your flying car: Humans will also apparently be able to fly, at least in short bursts. We're not sure, however, if that means people will evolve to grow wings or jet pack technology will advance.

Even more revelations

By now, Noah's critics were shaking their heads, convinced his visit to the future was a complete and total scam. But then they saw the next bit of information he chose to divulge; they were hooked.

Surprising political landscape

Noah also took note of 2030's political situation. Given the way things are trending these days, he observed some surprising changes to the world's social landscape. Let's start in the United States...

World War III

He claimed that the United States will eventually declare a massive war on North Korea. But which American president will be the one calling the shots during that global conflict?

Hmm...

Noah stated that Donald Trump will serve a second term as president after winning the 2020 election, which is interesting, considering how Joe Biden actually won the US Presidential election in 2020. In 2028, however, someone even more unconventional would be moving into the Oval Office.

Sounds plausible

According to the alleged time traveler, Yolanda Renee King, the granddaughter of Martin Luther King, Jr., will win the 2028 election. Of course, people noted she'd only be 20 then. Maybe presidential election requirements would change by then, too. Noah didn't check.

No more presidents?!

After King, however, Noah suggested there probably won't be many more American presidents. In fact, Noah brought back notes chock full of details about a massive shakeup that will change the entire global political structure.

One big country

At some point in the future, the entire world will reportedly merge into one new country. With aliens and humans living together in harmony, it only made sense for future leaders to do away with conventional borders and operate a whole new world.

A global currency

With all of the planet united under one flag, it's also logical to unify money, too. Noah confirmed that speculation, saying that a global currency will also be effected in the future. He had one last claim to make.

One more bold claim

Noah's final revelation was one that was just as bold as those which made him famous. Despite his other bold claims, this one left a lot of his readers in a state of shock. Others were less surprised.

You don't say!

In July 2019, Noah revealed that his trip to the future was a hoax; he was just a teenager who scored 15 minutes of fame. His motives weren't all bad, though.

The real story

Noah, whose real name was Jason, was frequently bullied at school. Youtube, however, became his outlet. He started making videos and sending them to ApexTV, a channel known for featuring time travel stories.

An unhealthy addiction

He became hooked on the viral fame; it was a thrill to hear people discussing his "predictions". “I honestly never meant to hurt anyone,” Jason said. “But after that first video, it became a really unhealthy addiction.” Maybe it's best to leave time travel for the future generations!
